In central Peru, cocoa from San Martin de Pangoa ( Junin) is grown in the rainforest by the Nomastsigenga and Soromoro communities. Their unique beans, criollo and local varieties, have inspired a complex 70% dark chocolate with fruity and floral notes typical of this distinctive region.
