Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, I have always been passionate about food. My childhood was filled with family gatherings and feasts.
While most kids would wait for Saturday morning cartoons, I would anxiously wait for Julia Child's "Cooking with Master Chefs" show to come on. Of course, inspiration also came from chefs Lidia Bastianich and Jacques Pepin, but no one ever quite did it like Madame Julia Child.
From those early days of pretending to be Madame Child to watching my mother cook another feast for a big gathering at our home, food has always meant an abundance of colour, decadent flavours, and delicious smells - but equally, laughter, sharing, and quality time with those we love.
Being surrounded by food, flowers and candlelight dinners my entire life, I've decided it was time to live out my passion of bringing people together, to enjoy a gorgeous, colourful spread of scrumptious food. To feast, to celebrate, to share, to laugh, to enjoy - and mostly, to love.
